Underage Sex?

i don't know what to say. where i live having sex with a minor (under 18) is considered as rape. however, all my friends have done it with older men, some on their 30's some in their 40's! i feel out sometimes but then again i have to realise it is sorta wrong....

 

Same with me, I knew about sex but i never WANTED it. I looked at porn quite often. (my mum has magazines in her room and i used to go to the library to go on the internet and look at porn there.... yes it was a rush lol I was only about 12 too)

 

17 is the age of consent in New York, I've never heard of it being 15. Except when under 15s have sex with someone over 18 and that being an offence.

Do you mean it is considered "statutory rape"? Rape is having sex with someone with no consent from them.

To OP: Sex between two underage people is taking far less seriously than a person of the age of consent having sex with someone under it. Also: oral, anal, vaginal and (I'm fairly sure) mutual masturbation all are the same as far as the age of consent is concerned. Also, note that laws for gay/lesbian sex and laws for heterosexual sex may have a different age by area.

The age of consent in Rhode Island is 16 for all types of sex, homosexual sex having a different law was repealed.

 

just cuz its illegal, doesn't mean kids don't do it, they just sneak it. marylands laws suck bout it too... i know personally bout that

If a hot 18 year old wants to do it with you, and you don't have a problem with noncommittal sex, go ahead and have your fun

 

if you are 18 are you allowed to have sex with anyone ANY older age? Whether it is a 20 year difference? or a 40 year difference?

Right when you turn 18 you can have sex with anyone OLDER no matter the age right?

or 18 and 50

or 18 and 75

Its considered PERFECTLY LEGAL? without any problems at all right?

Honestly I think the age of consent should be 13/14 without the whole 18+ thing. The 18+ thing is nothing more than population control in my opinion, just like wal-marts meat department... When I was 14 I was propositioned for sex from another 14 year old girl and I consented to say NO even though she was gorgeous. Its a decision I was ready to make and if it were an older girl (18+) I still would've said no. I say do it and hide it if you want to! And if you don't want to do it then don't!

 

I'm with Joey on this one. I thought the idea of threads was that they could be posted to at any time no matter how old they are. Someone looking through past threads may well have a valid point to add and reviving an old thread keeps all the relevant posts in one place.

The alternative is to start another thread on the same subject. However, no sooner that that is done someone will say that the subject was covered in a previous thread!!
