Hi everyone! It's wonderful to meet all of you! My name is Valentine, he/him pronouns, and honestly I'm just looking for understanding people. My family is homophobic and transphobic and life has been really hard at home. I'm really hoping to find people who understand what I'm going through!

Hi Valentine, I’m new too. I totally relate to how you feel. My family isn’t homophobic, but I’m pretty sure my mom wouldn’t want anything to do with me if she found out I was bi. She’s even said it herself that if she found out I was gay or something she would never speak to me ever again.
I hope you get to move out of your family one day and really get to be who you want to be.

I’m glad to know as well! Almost everyone I know who is gay, their families are so accepting of them. I always used to feel sad that my mom didn’t understand. But now I just don’t tell her. I don’t bring the topic up or anything but it does get annoying when she keeps asking me when I’ll marry and give her grandkids lol.

I totally get where you’re coming from. I’m still living with my mom and since I’m single I don’t know who I’m going to be marrying. Since I’m bi, as far as the universe knows I could marry a guy one day. If I do end up dating a girl and it gets serious, I’ll cross that bridge when it comes. But for now I’ll just be.
