Here are some things from an article. I want to hear your guys opinions on who would be better for the lgbt community! Click [here] for article.

    >> “We want to live in a country where gay and lesbian Americans and all Americans are safe from radical Islam,” Mr. Trump said, “which, by the way, wants to murder and has murdered gays and they enslave women.”

    >> As he did on Monday, Mr. Trump claimed Mrs. Clinton’s immigration policies would open the floodgates to jihadists, pointing to her plan to increase the number of Syrian refugees admitted to the country by 550 percent over President Obama’s plan.

    >> “Crooked Hillary wants to increase these immigration numbers very, very substantially,” he said. “She’s no friend of women. And she’s no friend of L.G.B.T. Americans. No friend, believe me.”

    -------------------------------------------------

So what do you think.. is Trump or Hillary better for the lgbt community?

They're both ruthless self-serving bastards, so I'd say regardless of who's better for LGBT people relative to the other, they're both bad for the country and the world.

It's third-party or no one for me this time around.

I don't pay too much attention to the news but I know a lot of people were saying Bernie would be good but Hillary pretty much has beaten him.

Idk. Hilary said in 2004 that she believed marriage was between a man and a woman and trump went to Elton Johns's wedding in 2005.

Hillary all the way. If anything, I'd rather have her versus that penchulant, deranged sack of orange diarrhea.

I definitely believe that Hillary would be, but I'm not so sure that I fully trust her. I definitely think someone like Senator Sanders or Jill Stein would be better for the community.

No offense but this is a no brainer pretty much. Hillary is hands down better for the LGBT community. And tbqh (not directed at you btw) I am sick of Bernie stans refusing to vote for Hillary because that will be the reason Trump wins. Immigrants aren't even the problem for us, it's ignorant Americans and Trump leads an army of them.

Agreed. I love Bernie Sanders, but Bernie or Bust is a privileged position to have. If someone is Bernie or Bust it's because they have the privilege to not worry about what will happen under a Trump presidency.

In terms of gay marriage, at least, Donald Trump has stated that he is for "traditional marriage," and what he means by that is "one man and one woman." I have yet to see any sort of change from that position. Clinton, at least, changed her position in 2012. Trump has also come out against the North Carolina laws prohibiting trans individuals from using the bathrooms that they identify with, but from an economic standpoint, meaning his concern is how much it's going to cost the state to police who uses the bathroom; his statement shows little evidence that it is because he is in support of trans people. Clinton has been against the NC policy from the start of the whole ordeal. And Trumps is a bigot and xenophobe overall, anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I've been wanting a female president since I was a mere child. I just feel like there are better women for the job and she'd screw it up, essentially empowering those who feel it's "a man's job" by "proving them right".

Sure it'd hardly be a sound statistic with only one female president ever but that wouldn't stop them from using it against us.

I definitely think that Clinton is qualified for and can handle the job. But I also am not sure that I trust her entirely. Elizabeth Warren 2Kalways

As a side note, I once saw a tumblr post that compared Clinton to Lady Macbeth: is she qualified for the job? Yes. Should she do the job? No.

Honestly when it comes to a presidential candidate policy ideas don't matter at the end of the day, and it all comes down to the character of the individual. From what I've observed Hillary has the character of someone who will flip-flop on positions to get what she wants: the presidency. I'm just not so sure how I feel about someone who once called Black people "super-predators" in the White House.

And yet the guy who wouldn't rent to black tenants in the '70s is supposedly better? And who wants to deport immigrants en-mass and who figures we shouldn't let Muslims come into America? Please, stop drinking the Kool Aid.
