    Thanks leb10 and kunoichi

My daughter comes back Friday, she's having an amazing time in Israel with her Dad, when I talk to her she's so happy and excited. So I'm still waiting for her to come home....

I have been telling her I'm getting the flat ready and she was so excited to know I'm sleeping there and making it ready for her. My partner's two boys are very relaxed about the changes and so excited to have my daughter come back and share a home with them.

I've got new bedding for her and brought some familiar toys for her and a couple new one s to make her comfy at the flat.

My ex and I have a bit of a disagreement about how to get her to settle in... he wants her to settle in gradually, so we were going to space out her nights here a little to start and then get into the routine. It sounded right to me at first; but when she gets here I think she'll be eager for this to be to be her home immediately.

Anyway I feel so happy in our home, it feels like this is the life I was always meant to have. And.... no surprise, we live in a gaybourhood! Haha it's perfect, we're right next to all of our favourite places (pubs, cafes, restaurants) we like to go in the evenings, and close to the LGBT centre where I run my group...

I couldn't have asked for a more fitting home and life, everything is just falling into place.

IMG_9006.JPG Life is so good right now, and I'm so lucky to have you all here supporting me and cheering me on, I feel like EC has been such an important part of my life the last two years.

I just got a photo from my daughter, she's been wanting to show me that the mangoes in Israel are smaller

Let me see if I can post the photo....

Today I'm picking up a few more of her toys to have at the flat, so when she comes in she'll see her toys and the boys' toys all mingled together in little baskets from her other home and their other home.

It feels so good having little moments with my partner at the flat, even small things like briefly getting a bit of dinner before having to run out of the flat. It's our home, it feels so warm and happy there. And my partner's so incredible. I am really the luckiest woman in the world.

The last few days have been just amazing and wonderful. My new home feels complete now that my daughter's here. And she's so comfortable and happy. She loves having brothers and they're so happy having a new sister too. The only growing pains so far seem to be coming from my ex, there's a bit of tension about the changes and his apprehension and worries...but I think we'll work through it.

I love having a real partnership with my girlfriend, i feel nurtured and happy right now. There are stresses with all the things we need to organise and sorting through details with the exes. But I feel so happy and everything feels incredibly right.
