I don't know much about most of it

but I love that last song (I became Bjork addicted for a month due to that song when I was 13'ish)

I could never pick my top ten songs, since I find a lot of songs good.

Music tastes are extremely personal. My list would have a lot more Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Opeth and so on. Bonus points to you for including Nirvana. That's my generation.

Thoughts? You are male, and 14 years since your escape from the womb you like western contemporary music with English language lyrics.

love bjork!!! but if i were to pick her two greatest songs, i would have to say big time sensuality and hyperballad

and i do love sonic youth, today-smashing pumpkins, nirvana... yeah pretty good list.

although if it were me making the list, it would have to have nine inch nails, david bowie, kate bush and depeche mode

Well i have not heard of a single song posted so far *cough* >_>

    TIME FOR MY NOT-GAY-AT-ALL LIST!

    1. Seasons of Love - Rent
    2. Vouge - Madonna
    3. Starstruck - Lady GaGa
    4. Time Warp - Rocky Horror Picture Show
    5. True Colors - Cyndi Lauper
    6. Bare - Bare
    7. Die vampires die - [title of show]
    8. My Eyes - Doctor Horribles Sing Along Blog
    9. Without Love - Hairspray
    10. So Much Better - Legally Blonde the Musical

If i really really really tried, im sure i could refine the list, but i have SO much favorite music, and its hard enough to pick from just showtunes, but add in *all* music and its kind of impossible. This is a rough list, but i think its not too far off.

I like your list, and I especially approve of your pick for your favorite band. (They are a favorite of mine as well.) I've actually come up with a list of my top 25 favorite songs, which you can see here:
    http://www.emptyclosets.com/forum/blog.php?b=2709
That list also has explanations of why I like each song. Here is my top 10 from that list, sans explanations.

    10. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
    9. Nemo – Nightwish
    8. Cherub Rock - Smashing Pumpkins
    7. 18 and Life - Skid Row
    6. Going Under - Evanescence
    5. Turn The Page (Live) - Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band
    4. Through the Fire and Flames - Dragonforce
    3. Disarm - Smashing Pumpkins
    2. Zombie - The Cranberries
    1. Lithium - Evanescence

Is it really allowed to include Eclipse alone on that list? I agree, it's fucking amazing, but only because of the transition from Brain Damage, but then theres the transition from Any Colour You Like, and then the transition from Us and Them, and then the transition from Money, and then there is no real transition from Great Gig in the Sky to Money, but WHO CARES, and then theres the transition from Time, and then from On The Run, and beginning at Breathe and Speak To Me. So really you'd have to include the entire Dark Side of the Moon album because of how amazingly connected all the songs are to eachother, and how vital that connection is. But its a great list. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

And Yes. I did have to just do that xD
