Perhaps I need to accelerate the wardrobe revamp....I'm kinda tired of dressing like I should be fixing cars all the time....

I can't complain I guess. A closet full of cute shoes... but I'll be damned if it couldn't be more stocked when I have a wider variety.

And of course no hate. Just friendly cattishness. Welcome to being a woman.

so I went to the doc last week and I started on a program that, I think, can give me a good shot at getting my hair back. its expensive but I have to figure out a way to pay for it, having my natural hair is too important to me.

What is it called? My natural hair... it is my biggest source of dysphoria.

im on Finastride (T blocker), nizoral shampoo ("kills" the T in the surface of the scalp), and I have to figure out how to get rogaine (as a regrowth agent) (it's like $155 for 3months) so it's a bit expensive with all that I have to pay to live here but i'll figure it out.

if that doesn't work, i'll need a transplant to get to where I need to be. and that's about $12K.

Well I'm on spiro. I don't know about that shampoo but I'll ask and not sure if Rogaine does shit for me. Tried it when I started losing my top part of my hair.

im on spiro and finastride, im on the second by request the shampoo maybe a Canadian product. i'll check the active ingredient when I get home. one common use for this is when babies get 'cradle cap' a condition where they lose hair they are born with to prevent further loss.

I wonder, does estrogen make your hair grow any faster?

No. Nothing increases hair growth speed to any relevant amount.

this is true. and as i say, im pretty far advanced on that front. hopefully the regimine im starting will give me mine back, or i can afford to get a transplant at some point.

    ---------- Post added 20th Mar 2017 at 01:10 PM ----------

so i've been on estrace patches for 2 weeks, im finding some tenderness in my chest, not in by the nipple but out near where the "edge of the breast" would be. just a thing or the start? that would be too soon? im kind of thinking it is too soon but would love input from those in the community who are further along than i am.

Mine started to get tender after two weeks, on 2mg pills, which I've been taking subliminally(dissolving under tongue rather than simply swallowing). Though in my case it was behind the nipple, no "hard piece" like I hear about though.

Out of curiosity, how expensive are shots compared to pills? Might be easier to keep up on and administer a shot once a week than dissolve pills daily...

Does removing your boys help the hair part? I heard it does. If anything, ill most likely get a wig if I ever get to where I want to be. Great part is. Never have to cut it and you can buy more than one for different hair styles.
