Thanks Mayor Pete for a job well done. There is more transparency to LGBT people now than ever before due to your presidential campaigning.

Also didn't like him. The corporate sellout who would turn corrupt at the drop of a hat and say anything to win vibe was strong with that one.

It was nice to see a gay person running though. It also showed how strong homophobia is... like the video of the lady literally signing up to campaign for him, and upon being told he's gay, suddenly said "well that just went down the toilet" and quits after lecturing the other campaign workers about religion.

I liked the fact that he was so much younger than Biden, Sanders, Bloomberg, and Trump. We need more young blood in Washington.

Once Klobuchar and Gabbard drop out, everyone left in the race will be over the age of 70.

Just saw. Now Gabbard needs to drop out. Who do you think will be the 2020 democratic nominee?

I hope Democrats in the US will not now make the same mistake as the Labour Party here in the UK and select a socialist (Bernie Sanders) to lead the fight against Donald Trump. It's not that I dislike Bernie or his policies, but rather like Jeremy Corbyn over here, he is an idealist rather than a pragmatist. To really succeed in politics you need to be prepared to build alliances and take care not to over-promise. Unfortunately, socialists tend not to build alliances and fall into that trap of over-promising every time, to the extent that it all seems implausible.

Of course, Donald Trump has proven over the last 3 years that you don't have to be a socialist to reject alliances and over-promise.

Never was for Mayor Pete, I personally didn't think he had a chance from the start.. I'm for Warren, but probably gonna go Bernie, she's too far behind imo.

Biden is a centrist. I like the policies of Sanders- especially about Medical Care and income inequality, yet I am a realist , Biden can win against the POTUS.

I can’t believe Bloomberg dropped out after putting in all that money. Also I wonder how much longer warren and gabbard will stick around especially since warren lost her own state to Biden.

Yeah, thanks to Pete it'll be either Biden or Trump, and either way we'll continue to live in a country of outrageously high "out-of-network" healthcare costs. I once got slammed with a $1,000 bill for a routine blood test, and it took me almost a year of back and forth calls between the hospital and my stupid health insurance to get rid of it. Not to mention the time I got severe burn and had to wait it out with a crap ton of NSAIDS because my stupid work decided to switch my insurances and leave me in no-insurance limbo for a few weeks. Yeah, thanks Pete. I hope he enjoyed his chardonnay in that wine cave.

I honestly liked that Pete was not your stereotypical gay person when it came to politics. He was a moderate middle of the road candidate who happened to be gay. I would of voted for him as president but at the same time he is still young and has a lot more he can experience.

Biden has his flaws and sometimes slips up while speaking in the heat of the moment but so does Trump even more so. But when it matters he speaks truth to power when it matters unlike Trump who lies and exaggerates about pretty much everything.

He had a specific strategy to win the southern states and failed. Despite all that money he spent he would of just been splitting votes with Biden and possibly dividing the party in the long run.

I could have gotten behind Pete. We need people in office that haven't been in office for so long they don't remember what its like to have a real job.

Why does everyone love Biden so much and think he is so electable? No offense, and it’s very sad, but he probably has dementia. There’s no way he has the intellectual capacity anymore to be president, and Trump is going to destroy him in debates because Biden can’t form a sentence. Not to mention he voted for the Iraq war, supported bad trade agreements, wants to cut social security, and has a history of racism, to name a few things. I see him as being hardly “electable.” To be fair, while I prefer Sanders, the older generations seem to latch onto “socialist who must be stopped” and don’t give him any consideration. But, I’d rather try to elect a candidate who will work to produce positive change in our country than a candidate (Biden) who is just another pig, like Trump, but instead wearing lipstick.

As a Republican, all I'm thinking while watching all this Democratic primary stuff is "really? you guys have had 4 years to prepare and these are the best people you can come up with against Trump?"

Like seriously. I don't like Trump and am trying to find literally anyone who isn't Trump to support and I can't find anyone who doesn't suck just as much or more. Yang and Warren were pretty much the only two that seemed like reasonable people with workable plans. Please don't make me vote for Trump again. Please.

I thought there were one or two Republicans running against Trump as well. At least that's what I saw. Not sure if they're still running.
