So one of the owners/bosses at the company I work for is in a band. His band is playing at a local spot on Saturday. One of my coworkers invited me along, and I'd like to go, but as I have never been to the place before I looked up their menu and noticed that the place is a tap room. The actual description for it on their website is "a full service bar, craft beer restaurant, tasting room, and craft bottle bar" I noticed the menu had several types of food, but only mentioned beer when it comes to beverages. I don't really like beer, so I was hoping they served other drinks (either alcoholic or not), but as I have never been to this place let alone heard of a taproom, I'm not sure. Has anyone ever been to a taproom that can confirm if they only serve beer, or are their other drinks available as well?
There will usually be a few soft drinks, cider if you're lucky, and sometimes spirits and miles. But the point of a tap room is beer, and that the beer is in kegs right there, rather than in a basement with the beer pumped through pipes. I'd think you should be fine, but in doubt phone the place up and ask.
I would bet they have stuff other than beer. Coke or Pepsi I would imagine along with iced tea, not everyone that goes to a tap house with friends is going to drink beer.
Every taproom/tap house I have been to has had a full service bar. To include soft drinks. But as mentioned their primary Claim to fame is to have multiple beers on tap.
