    Do you have a preference when it comes to height, particularly in a romantic partner?

    As a bonus question, do you like your own height? If not, would you want to be shorter or taller, and how much so?

    I'm 5'9. I'd like to be a bit taller, but I'm still relatively average. Also, as a result of my "average-ness" half the guys are shorter and half are taller, so I don't really care about taller and shorter.

    However, as a result of societal views on height and power, I would prefer someone closer to my height so that people wouldn't speculate on bedroom roles and who's "the man." I guess I'm just a bit insecure of that.

    I'm about 5'5, & most of my friends are my height or shorter. I find that walking next to my short friends makes me feel huge in height instead of average, which inexplicably makes me a little uncomfortable. I also don't like looking down at people to talk to them. Laying on someone's shoulder or chest while they stand is a nice perk as well. Short folks, y'all are lovely, but I'd rather look directly at or up at someone!

    Taller I LOVE taller guys it's like omfg yassss

    And I wish I was like 2 inches taller or so (I'm 5.7)

    Girl, I'm really short. (I'm a bit short of 5'6", I think), so a taller guy would be a great idea. (I've this fantasy of dating a football player guy who's 6 feet tall and wants me to hug him all the time)


    Also I would like 2 or 3 inches more on my height. That would be enough.

    It would be awkward to have a partner significantly taller or shorter, but it's not enough to discredit the possibility.

    Two of my friends are a couple & he's over 6' while she's a flat 5'. It's a big like seeing a chihuahua & a great dane together.

    i'm rather short (just a little above 5'5''), so i prefer my man to be -a feet- taller...

    additional 4 inches will be nice to my height, but since its going to cost $50.000 just for the surgery so i'll better find a really damn good job with nice salary and save up =)

    Ridiculously tall people annoy me, so if you are bigger than 6'3" this is not gonna happen. Everything else is fair game. Shorties are cute.

    Height isn't all that important but I prefer someone around my height not too much taller or too much shorter. I'm 5'11".

    I'm 6'6" so I don't think there are many taller than me, my ex was 5'3" (it did look quite funny!) so I'm not really fussed!

    Doesn't really matter to me, if I love the girl or guy their height doesn't really matter in the end; through I do prefer slightly taller men and slightly shorter women.
