I was wondering why my family was especially angry this morning.

I went to my uncle's house because we were making pastries for my cousin's quinceaƱera.

    Then I discovered this. Joy!

"This world is definitely f*cked," shouted my uncle.

"Yep, because there are more and more people like you every day," I said. Walked away and never looked back.

    Never speaking to him again.

    Hooray!

i think most people have summed up that this is great news..

However I'd just like to take the oppurtinity to say this man is one big fat HYPOCRITE:

He is married to a white woman...which would not have been possible were the Supreme Court not to intervene and declare inter-racial marriage bans unconstitutional. And yet he has the cheek to say it is not the position of the Supreme Court to intervene on gay marriage, and that bans did not affect people's dignity.

This sums up my feelings here:

Hearing this made me so happy. This really shows how much progress has been made in LGBT rights. We have made so much progress and I am proud of us. This is just amazing. Love wins!!

Im very happy. I love seeing most of America celebrating today. The ones that are upset are saying they want to move to Canada because of this. Im laughing Canada has had equality for a decade. Heck, Mexico has had it for a couple of weeks now. You can run but you cant hide!

I'm happy... but someone's gonna need to help me find my jaw. It's on the floor somewhere.

I was kinda expecting a split ruling the other way to be honest. But I'm already jaded at my young age.

A vote which could've turned out negative.
I'm not sure popular vote is the right or preferable way to settle this, especially since it's an appeal to popularity falllacy.

Me thinks Pride season in the US will be very special this year. So pleased for all of the US members today. I exercised my right to marry in the UK a couple of months ago and it's a very special feeling.
