Straight Girls that like Lesbian Porn? (Warning: Awkward Topic)

    Awkward topic, but my straight friend, who is a girl, claims that a lot of straight women are turned on by Lesbian porn. Which I can believe. But I don't understand. And I want to. I really want to because she claims that just because I'm a guy that I won't understand.

    She claims that she is turned on because it focuses on the girl and pleasing the girl. She said, as an example, that she wouldn't mind if a guy or girl did things to her, but that she wouldn't ever do something sexual to a girl. Only receive something sexual from a girl.

    And I just can't piece it together. I googled it and found a lot of forums with Straight women claiming that Lesbian porn turns them on, yet they also claim to be Straight.

    What I need to know is how they can be Straight and enjoy watching Lesbian porn at the same time. Like her "proof" is just showing me links to these supposed Straight women. Which I believe. I do. But how are they Straight?

    All I can think is that she's either only in it for the way it feels, or that she is turned on by someone focusing on the girl, in contrast to how male porn focuses on the pleasure of the guy and not the girl.

    Which I could understand in an actual sexual scenario, but how does the porn turn you on? If you're Straight, wouldn't it need to be a guy focusing on the girl, not another girl focusing on a girl? I mean it's only girls moaning then, in Lesbian porn. She said if she were blindfolded, it wouldn't make a difference who was doing it to her. Which leads me to think she's just in it for the way it feels. And all the people I've found on forums talking about it are all saying that just picturing women doing it is arousing to them...

    Just. BAH. Can someone explain to me how it works?

    Straight porn can often objectify women, or so I hear. Perhaps lesbian porn is more realistic of what sex is actually like, and perhaps it's not as off-putting by being demeaning to women.

    I got lost on all the questions you had asked :slight_smile:

    But, the type of porn you are watching says nothing about your sexual orientation. A lot of straight women loves gay porn for example.

    Straight porn is usually not balanced, so I believe a lesbian porn can be nicer to watch - maybe closer to love than to just sex.

    The girls perhaps feel that a woman knows the best what a women would like and that can be a turn on.

    I admit though, I have never seen one. I believe lesbian porn is very different from a girl-girl porn made for men, which is not appealing for me at all. I can't even watch a straight porn - because of the reason I said above.

    Straight porn often focuses on pleasing the male audience, resulting in completely fictitious scenes where the male using the female for little more than a prop.

    I'd agree with what your friend said about it focuses more on the girl and pleasing her.

    If she says that that's why, then it probably is, or she could be homoromantic.

    I'm a lesbian, and I've got to say that I almost like gay male porn more than lesbian porn sometimes. I think the little things can affect how you feel about certain porn. Gay male porn is often very intense, whereas a lot of lesbian porn I watch is oddly quiet. Fact is, different porn is portrayed in unique ways.
