Anyone else have songs that give them too many feels? I have 2:

One is Already There by Lonestar. It was the last song my grandmother and I listened to together before she passed, and it gave me an emotional breakdown in class last year.

The second is Unsteady by X Ambassadors. This song reminds me of the most important person in my life, someone I haven't been able to speak to in 5 1/2 months due to being grounded (long story) This also brings the waterworks because of how deeply I miss my friend. I can't wait for the day I can talk to them again. :frowning2: :tears:

I have two as well:

1. Oleta Adams - "Get Here". A boyfriend I had at the time was very well known in the corporate business field and he traveled a lot at times and I remember when this song came out and he loved it. Therefore, when he would call out of town...I would play this song to him over the phone. Also...a DJ buddy of mine a few years later had pushed me into performing this song to initiate him starting Karaoke night at the club that I worked a second job as a bartender. After I performed the song...I got a standing ovation and I won first place in the contest that was being held.

2. Kenny Loggins - "Forever". I was dating this guy and I found out that he was heavily into drugs which affected our potential relationship in a really bad way. Unbeknown to me...he would drop me off to work every now and then and use my car to run errands. However, after being stopped by the police one weekend ...It was revealed to me by the officers that he was involved in a drug ring where he and two other guys were importing Jamaican weed into the city to sell. They had been following him and myself for awhile and once they discovered by my patterns that I was not involved or possibly unaware...they decided to notify me what was going on behind my back. Needless to say...this guy got arrested and served some time which preceded in him going into drug rehabilitation center. Once he became sober...he also became a drug counselor for this particular center. He had wanted to get back together with me but I had moved on and started my life over with someone new and I was very happy. This was the song that he played for me and told me that whenever he played or heard this song ...he immediately thought of me.

There are several for me as well too but the stand outs t the top of my head I would say are:
Janet Jackson - I Get Lonely. Whenever I feel in a funk or alone I find myself looking this up and playing it.

Clocks by Coldplay - It reminds me of a really good friend of mine and unfortunately how some friends I use to be relay close to we unfortunately hardly keep in touch and communicate

Bryan Adams - Everything I Do
and SWV - Weak

Saturn - Sleeping At Last . This song always gets to me, whenever I listen to it it has to be the loudest thing in the room.

For Blue Blue Skies - Strays don't sleep. The reasoning behind this one is personal, but it's so hard for me to listen to.

Set The Fire To The Third Bar - Snow Patrol. I found this song years ago through a fanvideo for the TV show Bones, and for some reason this song just resonated with me, I don't associate it with the show Bones at all.

Into The Fire - Thirteen Senses. Although I watch Grey's Anatomy, unlike the entire comments section of this video, it's not what made me learn about this song, a person did. Someone I miss a lot.

1) "Because you loved me" by Celine Dion, the part that gets me the most is when she says " I lost my faith you gave it back to me", every time I hear I just envy anyone who's ever been loved so much that it restored the faith they lost.

2) "I adore you" - Miley Cyrus, something about this song brings out a deep yearning inside of me.

There are two that make tears fall:

[YT]v=HBwqiq1PN0E[/YT]
[YT]v=-_aw-yN2-y4[/YT]

I'm anxious, so, musics that talk about time (directly or not) are touching to me.

But i love these two songs.

Ah there are so many songs that pull my heartstrings. One that always comes to me when I'm feeling trapped is 'Beam me up' by P!nk. So beautiful...

Shipwreck by Chris Pureka gets me a lot. The part "sometimes I wish that the tide would take me" I can relate to a lot.

Several, but I will stick with just a few.
1. Pair of Wings - Frankie Rose
This song really gets me now. That feeling of spreading my wings to fly, by both being out and pursuing my ambitions. Some people might find this song cheesy, but I absolutely get transported when I hear it. I like to listen to it at night sometimes before bed
2. Another Life - Ingrid Michaelson
3. Music - F.R. David
4. Vision One (specifically the first 45 seconds of the song) - Röyksopp
I first heard it when I had my first major crush and those first 45 seconds have a very dreamy feel that capture how I felt at the time. A cloud nine feeling when I met him. :slight_smile: I think back to that time anytime I hear the intro of that song
5. Love Is Blind - Låpsley

Nickelback - What are you waiting for

I'm actually not really a Nickelback-fan, but this song represents all of my thoughts, because I'm always trying to play it safe (and waiting for the perfect moment).

Also 'Tonight, Tonight' by smashing pumpkins, but that's more in a bitter-sweet way.

So far away by Avenged Sevenfold makes me cry, I have a friend with had attempted suicide right after introducing me to that song and it always makes me think of what would have happened had she succeeded.

On a happier and ore ironic note my transgender power anthem is by a band that is considered to be a Christian group; it's called too loud by Icon for Hire.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvryolGa19A Yann Tiersen Comptine d`un autre ete makes me almost cry by default if im sad inside a little bit even. Sensitive to this stuff.

I like almost all genres of music, depends on my mood but recently these still got me going.
