Thou assuredly cannot be! Hath I discovered some cherub? Hath the heavens rained down a soul yet unblemished by the grievous fardels akin to this age? Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished!

I write sad songs and deliberately make myself cry from happiness (watching Inside Out, mostly), to stave off depression. I dunno, it just makes me feel better.

I'm..afraid to get drunk because a lot of repressed gay feelings will come out and the night will end with me waking up in bed next to some random I don't even know.

My first "same sex" crush was a woman on TV named Misty, who had spackled on makeup, huge fake breasts with moles and warts on them, and an odd facial structure.

I was madly in love. For like a month. Then I forgot I was bi for about three years.

    True story.

I seriously forgot my sexuality for three years and thought I was straight because I had no crushes on women.

I substitute my blankets with jeans. A lot of them. I throw in two/three pairs of jeans in bed and fall asleep.

I used to cross dress in secret when I was younger. The appeal wore off after a while and I've never done that since.

Vulnerability terrifies me, but I'm actually really soulful and emotional.

Hmm...well I guess it depends how well you know me.

I tend to use my hands a lot and be over dramatic with my voice because if I talk naturally then I tend to slip into monotone. That can be tough, because when you're trying to be serious people think you're just being sarcastic. Sometimes I'll let my voice go to how it is naturally, but I tend to rely on my hands a lot even so. This may be because I used to have selective mutism when I was younger for a few years and I must've had to rely on non-verbal ways of communicating through this world. Apparently it got so bad that I had even stopped using written communication entirely, as I had no interest in it and often refused to sit down and write, according to my old school records anyway.

But don't get me wrong, I could easily talk someone to the ground these days, particularly if the subject is interesting.

I tend to guess at how people are feeling as a way of asserting to myself my emotional intelligence. Usually I fail and just guess that the person in question is confused at something, when in actual fact they're not. Occasionally I get it right. My sister hates me for it and calls me a "psychopath" because well...I don't really do subtlety as a concept very well and I guess I can be a little oblivious. Also, I don't smile that much. No offense to any actual psychopaths in the room here, but I just don't think I am one. I can feel empathy quite easily (perhaps too much) but I can be a little awkward when it comes to showing it though. I'm working on it.

Also, I have a bit of an intelligence complex. I hate being out-performed by people, and I am a little jealous of my cousin's knowledge. I hate being called stupid, especially by my family. True, my grades are only just on the average mark most of the time, but occasionally I'll get top marks. These days I have accepted the label of "an idiot" because in certain areas academically my "skills" (or rather lack of) leave a lot to be desired. If you're joking with me and not laughing at me then fine, I don't mind that. Banter will be banter after all.

I like to use self- depreciating humour when it comes this kind of thing. It helps me get through and makes me realise that it isn't that bad, plus I don't like others knowing that it is a weakness of mine that I am insecure about. Maybe I am just an idiot...

Sorry, I have a habit of posting long posts don't I? :icon_redf Damn, I feel like I just went into a therapy session. I think most of the people here probably know me better than most people do IRL. That's what I get for ranting too much here I guess. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I care about people more than the logical side of my mind wants to admit.

Sometimes I used to wait until my parents were asleep, and I'd read some book using a little torch. Once I had gone about a week without sleeping and only slept when I realized that I might be hallucinating.
