Feeling a bit scared today, but I am traveling to Amsterdam at the moment with make-up on. First time I wear it in public...
Feels like a victory to me

Congratulations and good luck! When I was in Amsterdam a year ago I saw several gender non-conforming people and people didn't seem to mind at all. It's a wonderful and beautiful city too, if I could afford to I would move there permanently!

Well everything went totally fine, no odd reactions what frightens me the most..
I also went to the lgbt monument in Amsterdam, was quit impressive to be there..
It was loaded with flowers and funeral wreaths..

I see a silver lining, or potential silver lining, of being able to change my name in the not-too-distant future... god help me if it doesn't work out...

Some random stranger referred to me as she while in line at a Taco Bell! He corrected himself sadly but still that was awesome~ I passed slightly!

    Such a small thing but....
I'm going to get my hair cut short soon and I'm so excited since (in private, as not to cause suspicion) I've been pinning my extremely long hair up a lot and it makes me feel so much more comfortable in my own skin. I'm going to donate it too so it's a win for everyone. ^^

Thats great  I hope you love your new hairdo

    as for me..
Me and my mom just ordered my first binder ^__^
Afterwards she said "We went shopping together..from the comfort of our own home!"
That little thing is a big deal for her because I tend to hate shopping for any form of clothing and usually weasel my way out of it or go along with little enthusiasm. So glad she is accepting of all this.

on a personal note, i shaved my legs on the weekend, and painted my toes fushia. feels real, and real nice. i told my new therapist and she was supportive and said she'd like to referr me to one of the best LGBT health/social workers in the province i said please do. i also had a chat with my son and told him what i did and he said it's something he has to get used to but he didnt reject it either. he said the fushia was my colour. and he asked if he was going to come home some day and see me as a woman, i told him maybe. plus i was at walmart on saturday and saw this cute blue sundress and had to buy it since it was on for $9.00

    my mini victories.... :icon_bigg

just to add, i was at a local chain drugstore yesterday and saw a bottle of RED nail polish and on a whim i bought it. the cashier said, doing your nails? i said i think it will look fabulous on me haha. she said you wouldn't believe the number of men who come in here buying pantyhose, says it keeps their legs warm when they're out in the fishing boats..... i just smiled thinking i need new hose too....

Cleared my three month and one week shot, despite not wanting to even bother. It hurts, but it's over with. Blah, this doesn't get easier does it?
