lets say this is a relationship victory, yesterday was pregnancy and infant loss awareness day. and I had a really hard time. last night my boyfriend spent the entire evening with me via video chat just because I was having so much trouble dealing with the memory of my son, ive said before that I have one in Uni, but we lost another years ago, and his name is Joey. my BF was so supportive.

I did my own injection for the first time today!

Also, I haven't seen my doctor in a few months but when she saw me today she said "you bulked up" and I don't know, that made me feel good.

I have decided that I’m going to kick myself up the backside and lose some weight so I started working out.

I had a fabulous weekend, date day at a poetry event turned into date night at a café with live music. nice relaxing day yesterday catching up on chores, then I came into work this morning and I have a job interview in the city next week doing similar work to what I'm doing now, but its with the provincial college system. fingers crossed.

What I would call a tiny victory, while I do occasionally receive compliments on my pink painted fingernails, I often worry (for lack of a better term) about when the paint starts to chip away, that it looks ugly. However, twice in the past few days I have received compliments about my nails despite the pain chipping away pretty badly.

Meh, I'm alive. I'm basically full time now, I only "boy mode" when I have to, which is rare. Still no acceptance from certain people, but at least they don't usually stop me either. Also "boy mode" is REALLY really awkward now, I get "pretty sure you're a girl" vibes from almost everyone. Which is awesome.

    How are y'all?

doing great, loving life now. I start uni in January, part time. I think I pass for the most part. I never do boy mode. I've lost a few people, but gained more. even have a boyfriend now. some folks, parents, are adjusting but they're older so I cut them some slack. so great to hear from you. I was worried for a bit.

I'm okay, no need to worry. I'm not going to be around for long, though, this forum isn't really my cup of tea anymore but I like to pop in to say hi once in a while. Most of my friends aren't here anymore, and honestly it does more harm than good in large doses I find...

That's a shame. I found it to be the case some time ago too, unfortunately.

How I've been... idk, as always. I got my hair cut short and for some reason guys treat me like a guy now. I don't know if it's the hair or what. No, I didn't come out to them. Yet. They seem to be making suggestions that they want to know what is up with me. And I got told last week that I'm not like a girl at all. Whatever it means *shrug*

well, personal victory not necessarily trans related. I registered for my first ever University course on my path towards a degree in sociology and on to a masters degree in counseling.

    Huge victory...

After I was kicked out of the last place I was living, I reached out to the university and faculty for help. They found a room for me and it's in the LGBT housing on campus. So I am moving in next week and won't be homeless anymore.

Yeah, good that your university has such options! That's great news that you found a place to live!

Counselling must be a very rewarding career. I'm happy for you.

so, ive mentioned before that I'm trying for a transfer to the city from my rural office so I can move in to the city and be near the community that ive been accepted into. the week before last they made an offer and yesterday I told them to start the process to transfer my position to one of our city offices for a one year temporary accommodation. meanwhile I need to educate them that I'm never going to not need to be near my medical team. but I'm counting that as a victory, even though i'll be moving in the dead of winter.
