I tried packing today, because I was feeling really dysphoric and I did diy binding. I was surprisingly very happy packing and my chest was flatter as well. I came out to another teacher and am now being referred to by Ashton in my highschool class. In my vocational school I'm completely out. Overall great day and my confidence is building daily. #proudtrans

I shaved my legs today. I’m not 100% sure why this makes me feel so good, especially considering the razor slipped and left a huge cut on my leg, but it just feels so feminine. I haven’t started to transition yet, but it still just makes me feel a lot better.

First clothes bought from males' section. And not ordinary clothes: board shorts for the beach. I'll put them over the one-piece swimsuit. I hope I won't be bothered too much by the swimsuit that sticks to my chest >.< but hey, still better than a two piece that makes me too damn naked and slips away every minute.
Let's turn upside down the negative memories I have about the beach!

Fun fact: it has huge pockets. A masculine "swimsuit" that has pockets two times bigger than a women's trousers for sports / travelling / not being elegant >.<
As afab, can I say?... WE WANT THE POCKETS.

There's this little boy I know, and after not seeing him for a couple months, he remarked that my "voice has changed."

I signed up for a monthly makeup subscription service, Ipsy, and I used my chosen name! I have a basic makeup collection, but I'm excited to get more products. And this is the first time I've used Olivia as my name for anything outside of this site, Pinterest, and talking with my gender therapist. For some reason this seems more official, and it feels awesome!

I came out to one of my best friends today!! We live in different cities, so I had to message her, but I’m still so happy that I did it. I haven’t heard a response from her yet, but I know she’ll take the news just fine. She’s only the second person I’ve come out to, not counting my therapist, but I’ve been wanting to tell her for a long time.

so I saw my HRT doctor on Friday. we chatted then she doubled my meds, and gave me all the information to read over for my informed consent for bottom surgery. oh boy, also we are making progress on getting more thinks covered by the province and with making it easier to access trans health care here in Newfoundland.

I got an appointment with a University psychologist where I don't actually need an appointment. I may go in this week or next, rather than in a month!

After getting over a year clean from addiction, I've been cleared to have a surgery consultation in October. I've been binding for 9 years and this has been a long process due to my own creation with personal struggles. If it all goes well, I could have TS before the year ends.

I am too scared to celebrate yet, it's still not the all clear, but I feel so full of hope I want to cry.

I recently found a video about how dysphoria can fluctuate and just because it does that doesn't mean my identity is any less valid. It feels nice to know what I'm going through is normal.

I've been trying to push myself outside my comfort zone more. I've just got back from driving around for a couple of hours but as female. It's not the first time I've been out driving while in female clothes but usually I take them with me and change somewhere secluded and then back before heading home. This time I went out in full make up and clothes. Nothing OTT, just jeans and a long white blouse with wide black belt. I felt fairly safe driving around as it was dark so I believe no one would be able to actually see me that well. BUT I did have to walk to where the car was parked near by which was a bit nerve wracking even though I'd thrown a hoodie on until I got in the car. When I got back however I had to park in a car park further away. And I decided to just walk back to the flat as I was. There wasn't many people around but I still feel proud that I actually put myself out there.

Well it happened. I sent out letters to my final dozen people. Aka my extended family. They should be getting the mail either today or tomorrow. Yikes... so so so on edge.
