Today I found out that my boss is accepting of trans folk. She was talking about one of her trans patients and how she told the patient to correct her if she used the wrong pronouns. Note that boss did misgender the patient in today's conversation but immediately corrected herself.

I bought a bottle of ‘Every Man Jack’ shampoo and it smells so good. Not like the stereotypical “male” scent, but minty, it’s nice.

I get SO MANY people saying ‘dude’, and ‘guys’ at this new job to me I love it.
My boss and a few people I knew previously don’t do that, but the amount of people who do and how often it happens feels great!

I feel like I have pulled a plug out of a basin filled with secrecy and hiding who I am. I spent another weekend around people who know about my identity and call me Noah. Besides, I came out to a friend from university yesterday. So far, I've only had good experiences. Because of that, coming out feels less scary every time I do it. I am even starting to feel ready to face the possibly difficult conversations, because I know I've got a support network. It's hard for me to imagine that less than three weeks ago, my identity was still this huge overwhelming secret pressing down on me.

Had my top surgery consultation today. Looks like this winter is a realistic time frame, I'll have it scheduled officially later this week.

I was buying some flowers and chocolates as kind of a thank you gift, and the cashier asks, “Are you in the doghouse?”

It’s stereotypical, but I guess she thought I was older (and in a relationship) which was nice for a change.

Went to the zoo on a school fuild trip and today after class I was turning in one of my books because it is almost exams and my teacher asked what my preferred pronouns were because at the zoo people were referring to me with he/him pronouns and said she didn't want to be saying the wrong thing. And I told her and I couldn't stop smiling for the next hour

For the first day in weeks, I don't feel depressed. I really hope this stays.

I was finally able to visit the Social Security office to change the name on my SS card half a year after my name was officially changed (only recently got my driver's license, & the office is an hour away). Once the new card gets here, I'll be able to change all my other documents & debit card

I was at a fast food place last night, on my way to meeting with my poly support group, and an older gentleman started chatting me up. he was really sweet, and about as old as my dad. I'm still smiling at it, I passed right there.

I'm out at university (except professors). And social media except facebook. It's the compensation for parents that mistake gender for gender expression, sexuality and even physical appearance and say I don't resemble a man at all ("I see homosexual couples, they are different, it's perceivable in the voice, in the body" what the hell).

That's awesome you're out! Sorry about your parents though, I know that struggle. Don't listen to them though, you're every bit a man and we're all here for you.

I'm doing another panel in the city for Pride month talking about my journey, and what its like to come out and transition later in life.

It's nice to be surprised by the thought: "I can't wait for when I'll look in the mirror after the shower". I never expected to think such a thing. The mirror. After the shower. I usually avoid reflections.
It's the magic of having hair short again. When I can see a guy staring back, from the right angle. "Now it works."

I did another panel last night, and while there weren't as many tears. there were some very engaged people there asking very pointed and eager questions all with the utmost of respect. it was fabulous. I told the organizers we need to do it again, and maybe have a round table or something more interactive than a panel presentation.
