idk if this counts but a new coworker of mine said he liked my nonbinary pride necklace. he was the first one to recognize it for what it was, most people just say its a cute necklace and i kind of make up a reply off of what they said. so it felt amazing to get it recognized for what it was and to hear such an offhanded but totally accepting remark. cause i'm not out at work yet as much as i want to be. i'm too afraid.

I had to go to another hairdresser than usual, so I couldn't go for the boy short haircut I wanted to try out, but I got my hair cut anyway, and into a short bob, and I didn't expect it to come out as good with the other hairdresser! I have to say the haircut makes me look quite boyish and like a rockstar  , especially so when I pair it up with my new black motorcycle jacket.

so i go live/full time in two weeks. im, by turns, excited and scared to death. i've been this person, i made, for 50 years, now i have to not be him, and work so that he doesnt pop up or i feel people will say im faking. i know i have to do this, i cant not at this point. yet despite all that, im so looking forward to walking in the sunshine in a cute dress or skirt and tee shirt just as me.

The gender therapist I contacted offered to add me as a client! I'd written her several weeks ago and hadn't heard anything so I was starting to get a little discouraged, but I just heard back from her today. She's a really in demand therapist in my area, so I'm thrilled that she has a spot for me. I feel like I'm finally making progress in my journey!

My hair stopped being temporarily nonsense and doesn't look too feminine despite being longer. A ticket clerk gendered me correctly (then saw my documents and shut his eyes for a pair of seconds like asking forgiveness, but I didn't leave him time to talk :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:).
I almost made a lapsus, writing "gender clerk"... xD

well, it's been a productive week, met with my regional manager wednesday as our last meeting before i come out, finalizing our game plan, saw my gender therapist this morning and speech pathologist this afternoon all with final help, encouragement and all manner of excitement. it's really getting real. then i met a friend from a twitter group im in, she knows who i am and she's really excited for me too. guess i have to do it now.... haha
also i got a couple cute tops long enough to hide my bulge when im wearing tight pants like leggings, and skinny jeans.

I basically came out at my junior prom last night. I was super nervous, because I was going to be wearing a super poofy dress, and wearing my tiara. And then we have this momemt called grand March where king and queen are announced, but the entire Jr class is announced and stuff, and I had requested that I be announced as daughter instead of son, and like all the parents and community was there and i was so nervous. But nobody directly said anything to me and i had a blast at it and it was honestly amazing to just be me!

I'm in the process of getting a consultation for top surgery! Looks like my consul will be in June then I'll have a more realistic picture of when top surgery can happen (fingers crossed for December or January).
