quite a score, good going. i should get you to take me shopping.
so i was in hospital yesterday and im out to my doctor, and now to the surgical staff, and the nurses wanted to be able to see me when i come out full time. i said i have pictures...... well they wanted to see so i pulled my phone out and showed them some. they seemed impressed with me and my hair and make up. one said i have very feminine features and i must hear that all the time, ummm no, no one ever has said that to me before. i felt soooo great.
So I had my nails done on Wednesday. Black with gold glitter (after all it's Christmas). Any work had not been to bad with it but I was dreading being out tonight with the guys on hr skittles team especially my brother who a. is not the most open minded of people and b. has a tendency to degrade or put me down in front of others. (in his defence he's doing it as a joke more then any type of malice)
Any way there was a bit of piss taking but overall the response wasn't as bad as I was imagining (in fact I got just as much stick for wearing a Doctor Who Christmas jumper) so I was really happy. I don't even think my snowman earrings were even mentioned. we also won the game and had a few drinks for Christmas so overall a really good night.
I was hoping to attach a photo of my nails but the photo doesn't seem to have cleared into my folder yet.

ah there we go
cant view it hun
That's odd. It's showing above to me. It's even appearing in your reply. Can anyone else see it?
i can see the link but it comes up you dont have permission to view this album.
It's been a while. Glad this thread is still alive and kicking.
Been out of the closet for the past 8 months and it feels fab.
Ah right. Ok I've messed around with the album settings so should work now. (hopefully)
ohhh pretty. very nice.
Those look just like my nails right now except the sparkly flecks are a little larger. Mine are finer grains. Very pretty.
I had extra gold glitter put on top.
I just, like a minute ago, answered a question from a co-worker from across the room in the right pitch and flow (I think) with volume. so excited.
I changed gender settings on facebook from "questioning" to "transgender man" BUT it was and still is settled on "private" so only I can see it. And, hopefully, the damned facebook algorithm. (I spent five minutes trying to spell "algorithm" right. Why does English have all these "h"s).
It was exciting anyway. I was scared to change privacy settings for mistake and come out for mistake LOL.
I was not sure whether to put this in Vent or Victory...
Since getting my ear piercing I pass a lot less. I'd say it's probably dropped from 70% passing before to 50% now. But even so, I don't care that much. I love the way my ear looks and I'm about to go on T, so passing or not will very soon be a thing of the past~
thing is, even in the cis world, pierced ears is seen as a fem thing so it's one of those visible queues people use to classify others they come in contact with. yes it's outdated and yes it's silly but there it is.
I have a tie I have a tie tietietie...
Since I was ten, I've wanted a tie. Now I have it. And there's "Ovs MAN" written on the label. Heheheh.
Next step is watching tutorials for knotting it.
I have private genderqueer and they pronouns, ha!
I thought pronouns on facebook are public :/ I have "they" too and it's public. Of course no one looks at that part of my profile.
Yes, pronouns are public.
