Yep... that feeling when you are out to 20000 or so people and have the love and respect of your colleagues and students... I'm on cloud nine right now and nothing will bring me down. I feel like I'm in a dream.

This may not sound like much, but it is for me: I finally got the gumption to wear panties under my clothes! I only wore them for about 4 hours, including for the short walk to where my nephews go to school and back, but I have to admit that it felt really good!

Only problem I had was the damn things kept on wanting to snuggle into the crease where your butt meets your legs lol. Baby steps are good steps

i remember doing that. such a good feeling. if your riding up maybe you have the wrong size? or style? in any case keep it up, it feels so natural, much more comfortable than guys underwear.

Well... Pretty sure I've hit one of the biggest victories in being out to my entire school. But I just got my first manicure pedicure combo today and bought a whole new wardrobe at the thrift store for dirt cheap.

    definitely counts.

i get a bit over whelmed in stores to be honest, either from crowds or just too much stuff in the store, on the racks and i find i cant focus on one thing, i keep trying to process it all.

I finally bought my own electric razor (Wahl), and it's so nice. I no longer have to get it cut by someone.

It did! And it was such a confidence booster too!

I was wearing size 8 panty briefs. I do have a bit of a bubble butt, and I'm used to wearing men's boxer briefs (size medium, I'm naturally thin. I get over about 170-175 lbs and I start looking rather fat lol) so yeah, size/style probably had a bit to do with them riding up

yea i think it would be the cut of the panties if they rid a bit. check to make sure that they are either a bikini, or straight brief, or a checky. all depends on the cut. and the material too.

I'M GETTING FACIAL HAIR WOOHOO!!! Pre-T everything but I did a lot of effort to increase my T naturally and use minoxidil. The result is a few dark hairs on the sides of my upper lip bit damn I've never been so proud even though you only see them when looking really close. Feeling so grown-up now!

I finally called my insurance provider to see if they had more of an idea of what was going on with trans coverage issues (since we became I think the 17th state to ban trans-exclusion plans from health care plans). It became a thing in May or so, and I was wondering with my partner if trans issues would be their own thing or something like top surgery would fall under something like a breast reduction.

The person helping me was so cool about it, and even gave me a number for my county's community care line if I needed resources for therapy and such. She also said while things are subject to change, she did tell me trans issues are in their own category and trans related surgeries are covered benefits; with all you needing is some form of prior authorization from your doctor to get things going--or so I'm understanding. She wasn't sure about specific copays (if there would be any), but that's fine.

So yeah. I'm very excited to know top surgery for me should be covered without a problem. With dysphoria kicking my ass and my mom still feeling the effects of chemo, it's some scary shit. Even though she said the cancer doesn't appear to be genetic, it has me nervous.

I might actually be able to pass as male if I wanted to! I started a new sports class today and basically everybody I didn't know before assumed I was a guy (at least until they heard my voice).

Anyway, I am extremely happy right now. I thought that the androgynous looking face I see, when I look in the mirror, was just my own wishful perception of myself. But maybe it's not! It was a huge confidence booster to know that I don't look like a woman to all people around me.

I got my T prescription today! Now I just have to wait until the 27th to learn to inject but at least I get to stare at it until then. I also passed for the first time. My mom and I went to a store and a guy held the door for us. We each said thank you and he said "You're welcome man and (pause) sir?" He said it in a questioning voice but I still count it.

Today should have been the last day my name change notice ran in the paper. If all goes well I should be getting the final papers in the mail any day now...also means I have to tell my boss.

i had a medical thing yesterday, and had to show what meds im on. so i showed the list, spiro, finastride, and estradiol. nurse asked why im on these, and i told her that i am a MTF transgender person, just starting. she smiled and said congratulations, and best of luck.
