If you have a piano, and you can tell me what your lowest and highest note his, I can tell you.
Go as low as you can go, but go only as high as you can go in the mask voice before you his that break point. The moment you hit falsetto, stop.

    That is a bass...are you sure it's 2 octaves below middle C?
It's not bad at all, and bass is a pretty special register, don't know much bass singers lol
Have you ever had voice lessons? With me it happened that my register was really low at the beginning but it started to grow a lot.

An octave can be lower of higher, that doesn't matter lol.
If you can it would be better to get a real teacher rather than a dvd, the dvd won't tell you if you're doing something wrong.

I am in the choir and I've sung on stage before so I am qualified to be a singer I think :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
one thing i always remember is to use your diaphragm to sing properly without needing to take so many breathes of air all the time.

If you have access to a piano try to see what your lowest note is  Based on that I can probably reference what your voice range is.

I did :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:, if this makes sense, i start at an F-8 and end in a C-25...
In other terms, F (the second F below Middle C) is my lowest and Middle C is my highest. Almost #C

Geezus sorry about the second reply. I was so out of it that I didn't realize that there was a second page.
I was so confused and thought nothing of mine was posting -_-.

You do appear to be a base .
That is one special range you got yourself there .
As a bass you will sound really great in the lower part of the notes, so make sure your relaxed and really letting the vibrato happen.

    Ok  Thank you :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
Also: Is it possible to sing any song? Even if it's outside of my range, can't i still sing a few octaves lower?

It is "possible" to sing any song, but just not necessarily in the original key.
You may have to twerk the key a little so you can hit all the notes, or just to make it more comfortable.

    ---------- Post added 28th Jul 2013 at 02:36 PM ----------

Mother of god did I actually just say "twerk the key"?
I will leave it because I am too amused to fix it.

I don't see why not, but to be safe why not ask an admin?
Just checked code of conduct -
Better safe than sorry to not. The problem is that you would be giving us access to an account that could possibly used to identify you. In other words, the problem isn't you putting up the video so much as the account its posted under.
I think it's possible however that you PM the link to the video...:| Even then I'm still not sure. Definitely ask an admin's opinion before proceeding.

Maybe you can upload it to a site like mediafire. You can't access the account of the person who uploaded the file.
