Singing songs in a different language

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I've tried to do some german, russian chinese and japanese stuff before. The trouble is sometimes the songs are obscure to where I can't find any lyrics in the original language for them. It's kinda sad cause I do like to know the meaning of a song"

Maybe i can help you with some german lyrics. Though with some metal-variants i do not have a clue myself, though i am a native speaker. Fell free to ask anyway

I got so so bored one day that I took it upon myself to learn the Multi-Lingual version of Let It Go. After a while, I got really into learning it and did several searches on how to pronounce each and every single word. While I still have a couple words I'm not sure on, I've pretty well all of it. Took me a total of 3 months.

I know a couple of songs in French, Italian and Catalan by heart . And of course some songs in Spanish, too, because it's my mother tongue. But to be honest, the vast majority of the music I listen to is in English. I do want to start listening to German and Swedish music, though.

I actually taught myself other countries national anthems. So far I can do

    USA- Star Spangled Banner (English)
    Canada- O Canada (English, French)
United Kingdom- God Save The Queen (English)
    Germany- Deutschlandlied (German)
    Australia- Advance Australia Fair (English)
New Zealand- God Defend New Zealand (Maori and English)

Im currently trying to learn La Marseillaise (France) and Himno Nacional Mexicano (Mexico). With English as my native tongue and German as my foreign language in high school I try to explore other nations cultures, even though outside of the US ive only been to Canada including French speaking Montreal which is almost like another country itself compared to the rest of Canada.

The French version of O Canada is the only song I know in another language.
