Showers

I usually take 10-15 minutes. I like to shave and brush my teeth in the shower as well (just to do everything at once, why not).

 

Depends if I've had a bad day i just let the hot water poor on my back for about 30 minutes and if im tired or want to watch a show 5 minutes most.

Probably 10-15 minutes on a work day, sometimes much less if I let myself sleep in too long and am in a rush. If it's a weekend I can be in there for quite a while though; I do some of my best thinking in the shower.

 

More than 20 minutes.

It's where I do my thinking and I enjoy the fact that I can usually be undisturbed

At school, I want to be in-and-out of the shower as quick as possible. At home, I'll flip on the shower as well as the heat lamp and sit around for like 10 or 15 minutes doing...um...other things before I finally get in the shower for about 5 minutes.

 

10 minutes or less, I like to be in and out. There is only one bathroom in my house of 6 people and a baby.

 

10-15. I have the thickest hair of anyone I know and it's long, to my hips. It takes about 5 minutes to wash it, condition it, and then get all of the soap out. I'm hopefully getting it chopped this weekend.

20 minutes. 3 minutes to relax, 2 minutes to use soap, and the rest of it is either me being dysphoric or me trying to get the damn shampoo onto my scalp! My showers would be a lot shorter if I could just get a haircut.

Also, my hair is a bit long, so it would be difficult to have a shower shorter than that.

If absolutely rushing, I can finish in 2-3 minutes. That's about a minute getting the temperature right, and about two minutes speed-cleaning.

If casually, then 5-10 minutes. I like to sing/whistle/hum in the shower, and there's been times where I've considered releasing an album, all of me singing in the shower.

If I'm zoned out or waking up, it can be more along the lines of 10-15 minutes. But I rarely exceed 20 minutes.

Showering can trigger some dysphoria, but I've gotten better about it. Strangely, when I turn the water off, I close my eyes and begin to dry myself. In those moments, I imagine myself in a feminine body. Not sure why it works out like that sometimes, but if I had to guess, the scents I coat myself allow me, even if just for a moment or two, to forget about what I am biologically. This is one reason I enjoy bathing, because it's one of the few times I can indulge in such things.

5-10 minutes...but I love a long soak in the tub.

5-10 mins tops in the shower but then I need to shave also so 15-20 mins .
