    I don't shampoo very often. It sounds gross but, the hair cut lady I go to says my hair is more healthy and thicker then ever.

    I use shampoo every day, but only once. If I work out a bit and take a shower before bed I'll just rinse off.

    "chemical-free"? You do know that air and water are chemicals, right? I understand what you mean by "green" but it's far more important energy and food-wise than in shampoo. I understand their ingredients are generally benign.

    That said I use regular shampoo once a day, and not really a lot of it. Just enough to keep my hair from getting matted.

    Do you need shampoo? Not really. I think the reason why most people prefer it though is that it helps with your hair texture and is easy to apply.

    My city is so polluted I wouldn't even think of going a day without washing my hair... I come home after work and my lips taste like dirt from the pollution... I also have pretty long hair... like down to the small of my back~ so, that ish needs to be taken care of XD;;;;

    I use an organic herbal shampoo once a month/once every two months. Back when I had longer hair I washed it every 2-3 days and it was thick, shiny and healthy albeit coarse.
    Now that I've cut my hair short, I wash it daily, or every other day since it dries faster and I can do it quickly under running water.

  15. i use shampoo but only wash my hair twice a week because its oily and apparently the more you wash it the more oily it gets. sometimes pushing my luck once a week. (call me a skank haha).

    deffo helps with oil production though (for my hair anyway)

    I only wash my hair about every other day and I use LUSH's shampoo bars (scalp exfoliation ftw). Since cutting down my washing times and switching to non-chemical shampoo, I've had a massive drop in oil and dandruff. (~.n)b

    I hate using shampoo or harsh soaps. I get really dry skin and it itches like crazy. So I just don't do it.

    I use a mild natural soap or salt scrub on my skin and just let my hair do whatever. I condition without shampooing pretty regularly and only use shampoo when there has been product in my hair.

    I also don't shower every day, maybe a few times a week...and when I do, I use cooler water. The hot water dries out my skin real bad and I'm not a very sweaty person and I work inside so I don't even feel dirty after most days.

    My skin is hella soft and my hair is really really shiny and full looking. And I feel and smell fine so I must be doing something right.

    LUSH <3 <3 I love their products (many of them are vegan and none of them are tested on animals) but their shop is always overwhelmingly fragrant.

    That reminds me, I should go buy some face scrub.

    I use shampoo everyday. When I leave a day out and don't wash it, my hair gets sooooo greasy :icon_sad:
