I think a lot of us have a tendency to be really self-critical, especially when we're feeling depressed. Stuff like, "of course I burned the rice; I'm completely useless". So let's go the other way. Say something nice about yourself. What are you good at? What are some features you like about yourself? You have a nice smile, you're creative, you're kind, anything. Give yourself a compliment, you deserve it! For example, I'm actually a decent baker and an okay cook.
