Hello Everyone, I’ve been somewhat M.I.A. We found out a few weeks back that my mom is dying. The Dr’s found a bunch of small tumors in her brain. There is nothing the Dr’s can do. She is my best friend in the world and all I have. I’m so numb and scared! I’m having panic attacks and I’m getting no sleep because I’m afraid to sleep, Because I don’t want to miss anything. I’m currently listening to Sad! By XXXtentacion over and over again.
I'm so sorry to hear that! Praying for comfort for you and your mom during this time. Go make memories with her! Doctors don't have the final say so! My grandfather lived 15 yrs more after they have him 3 months to live!
they gave my paw paw two weeks, that was in '02, he died in'14. and what killed him was what was supposed to kill him in '02: a slurry of brain, lung, skin, and blood cancers, along with pneumonia. in those twelve years he raced trucks, worked a private auto shop, maintained a 60 acre ranch with 6-8 horses he rode often. so doctors don't know all.
also, try nf, his music is a bit better than xxx, though xxx is a pretty good rapper, nf has better rhyme schemes. try therapy session, or how could you leave us.
I am sorry to hear such dreadful news about your mother! You have my deepest sympathies. Try to be strong. Spend as much time with her, giving your mom love and support. It will be a great comfort to her. Treasure your time with it. God bless you both!
@Rainbow100 I'm so sorry hun! Serious illness is its own grieving process. It is a stressful time with lots going on, take care of yourself in this difficult time as well. Do your best to show her all the love you have for her and cherish the here and now. Sending comfort and healing thoughts your way, we are here for you when you need us (Side note, I've always thought Sad! was a powerful song. Sometimes music helps carry you through. Lil Peep is my personal go-to).
I'm sorry about what you're going through. But I have to say that it is not the time to be sad nor depressed. It is the time for you to spend quality time together regardless of place or situation, make it a good time. Enjoy her company, and as many here have mentioned, doctors don't know it all. And listen to cheerful songs and music, being positive in those difficult times are going to help your mom and you tremendously. Big hugs
