Hi there, I think I may have brought this up a while ago... can someone get the sysadmin people to change the RSS feeds so that "&goto=newpost" is NOT appended to the end of the URLs sent out? The reason for my request: you get a new post via RSS about new threads in emptyclosets. You click on the link included... but instead of taking you to the beginning of the thread (and since the thread is new to you, that's where you want to start reading it from) it goes to the most recent message in the thread. So if you use RSS to go to a new thread that has been up a while, you end up starting at the end of it, which isn't terribly useful. I highly suspect this is configurable so if someone could just ask the appropriate people...
Well, actually, he's wrong. I just tried it... you can try it too: Go to http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1371&goto=newpost and you'll go to the bottom of the thread. (in fact right now it gets translated to http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?p=12945#post12945) Go to http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1371 and you'll end up at the beginning. Which of course only makes sense because if you normally went to the newest post in a thread when you were new to it, why would you need to have &goto=newpost at all?
