Hi everyone, I recently came out as gay/bi/pan (not really sure but working it out ) and am looking for ways to connect with the LGBTQ+ community. I have been in a pretty tender place the last few months going through a breakup with my girlfriend of three years and coming to terms with this new adventure of being totally true to myself. I look forward to connecting, bring on light and love!
Welcome to Empty Closets SGMC! I joined EC back when I identified as a straight ally, and noticed it was such a supportive community. Then three years ago I was in therapy and realized I had “shifted” to bisexual (hence my avatar). If you haven’t already, I hope you get the chance to peruse the “Later in Life” section, or any of the others, and get to know the community and ask questions. Sorry to hear about your breakup. Was it related to your sexual orientation? Glad you are on EC!
