Me toooo, for both of these!

    Something about me:
    I have dermatillomania & dermatophagia.
I mostly pick & bite the skin on my fingers & lips, but I also pick the skin on the bottom of my feet, and I sometimes pick at small bumps on my legs (shaving my legs causes bumps, so I stopped shaving lol. I've had this since I was about 3 years old, and I've been trying to stop for years; therefore, I've always got stim/fidget toys on hand. I sometimes even use them when I'm teaching haha. My students with autism, ADHD, OCD, bi-polar, & anxiety understand, but other students ask me lots of questions about my fidgeting lol.

Sometimes I follow people on Tumblr purely because their URL reminds me of Alan in some way.

I know the rules for five different trading card games, two of which have been out of production for years:
    -Magic: the Gathering
    -Yu-Gi-Oh
    -Pokémon
-Chaotic (production stopped in 2010 or something like that)
-Star Wars CCG (by Decipher, not Wizards, production stopped before I was born, but my dad owns at least one copy of every card ever printed)

I have never had a pet dog (unfortunately).

However, I've had parakeets, guinea pigs, chickens, rabbits, a rat, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. I currently have a cat named Toby, and he's my lil buddy :heart_eyes_cat:

Some time ago psychiatrist told me that person with my psychical problems will almost certainly commit suicide. That was 2 years ago, I don't take antidepressants and I'm still here. Plus I could be in worse state :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

A few years ago, I had an attic bedroom of which I fell down the flight of stairs once, and my spine has been slightly crooked ever since. You can see, pretty obviously, that my spine is crooked in my neck and in my collarbone, in particular.

I have yet to get treatment for the injury.

The majority of the time, I don't experience any problems with it. However, ever since that injury, if I strain my back just enough with a bit too much heavy-lifting or being positioned one way that's straining on it, my back can start to hurt and have a near-searing burning sensation.

A couple summers ago, I rappelled down into a cave. It was scary as hell, but also pretty awesome. 10/10, would do it again.

Have you ever heard of someone being night blind? It's the same thing but in reverse. It means my eyes are almost cripplingly sensitive to light. In conditions where the light is really bright, I have to put on sunglasses and go to a room that I can block all light coming in. There's also times where it's so bad I have to put on welders goggles. My wife has to drive me a lot if I have some kind of doctors appointment. That's one of the reasons I sincerely prefer overcast days. The light is a lot lower.

Is that the same as photophobia?

    No it's not photophobia. It's not a fear, it's a physical condition.

"As a medical symptom, photophobia is not a morbid fear or phobia, but an experience of discomfort or pain to the eyes due to light exposure or by presence of actual physical sensitivity of the eyes."... that's per doctor google lol

I have light sensitivity too but very minimal. Although i always have to adjust my phone's contrast and brightness.
