Rain

I love rain. It's somehow soothing in just the right ways.

 

I love it if I don't have to drive in it.

 

For the most part I love the rain. I love listening to it fall on the roof or against the window pane, so relaxing. And of course sometimes I love running around outside in it like a crazy person, getting completely soaked.

Oh and also the smell in the air right before a storm...it's tops!

 

I love a refreshing rain in summer and especially the smell after it.
I hate a frustrating rain in autumn/winter, especially when I'm trying to get somewhere by bike and don't see anything because I have to close my eyes. It's so nasty when your clothes are all wet and it's cold and everything.

I love rain as long as I don't have to drive long distances though it with other people that are completely incompetent drivers on the road. :icon_wink

 

I said I was indifferent to the rain...I actually rather like it, but on my terms. I hate cold, damp, blustering rainy days. I like soft rains that smell good and whose rhythm lulls me to sleep or lets me indulge in a good book, a cup of hot tea, and a dog curled up by my side or wandering around a book store. I live on one of the Great Lakes and a good thunder storm over the water usually includes a stunning light show. I like it when it suits me. What I love are warm, sunny days with gentle breezes.

It's cooling yes, but I live in a tropical country and rain here is heavy and noisy af. Also it gets extremely humid after the rain. So, not bad, but not good either.

 

I'm a bit indifferent. Rain makes me sleepy so I usually sleep when its raining.

But during the summer I enjoy playing in it like a kid
During the winter I hate it.
When the sky breaks and a lake drops on us I f-king hate it, miserable to drive in.

 

I love rain! Particularly thunder storms.

 

Unless it's falling from a thunderstorm or a torrential downpour, I don't like it.

Warm, heavy rain after a hot sunny day, that lasts for an hour before clearing = good. Cold, drizzly rain that lasts all day, gets you soaking wet and prevents you from doing a lot outside unless you want to get your favourite shoes covered in mud = bad.

 

I live in England so I'm very used to it. I like it (until I'm not dressed for it at all and it surprises me because I don't really like getting wet. When I'm ready for it, I love it).

I'm Irish. I am legally obliged to say I hate it.

 

At times I really hate it, other times I tolerate it. I do love thunderstorms though. I love seeing the dark sky before a storm (especially when it contrasts with bright sky). I also love seeing lightning and hearing thunder. I also enjoy when there are severe storms in the area and the TV weathermen are tracking them, I like to follow along. I enjoy watching Storm Chaser TV Shows as well, and would love to take a Storm Chasing vacation some day (there really are such things).

 

I love rain...especially true for heavy rain...and thunderstorms!

 

I don't like rain. With that said, I love thunderstorms!

 

I've always loved rain, but thunderstorms never fail to liven up my mood. There's something beautiful about the way the clouds roll in and the lightning brightens up the sky in an earth-shattering bolt. The thunderstorms that we had where I live yesterday were particularly nice.
