Profile posts being invisible to everyone else?

This is a weird one. I was posting back and forth on profiles with someone, one of my messages disappeared, then came back. I posted again and that message disappeared and then came back to. My messages are now visible to me but no one else (someone I know in person with an account here can't see them on his account, but I can see them on mine).

Not sure if this is some weird temporary thing but thought I should mention it in case it's a bug.

 

The person I was profile posting with can I guess see the notifications of a message but not the actual messages.

 

Yes, now they all are visible again. That was odd. Thank you for the help!
