Answered Problems with private messaging

    Not sure if any other users are having this issue.

    I have a private conversation going. There was a new message from the other user (the chat changes from white to blue, showing a new reply) but for some reason, there is no notification and when I click on the conversation, there is no reply, and the last message displayed is my own.

    I'm guessing you're talking about your PM with me. Yea the exact same thing happened to me in that PM also. I saw the 'blue new reply' thing, and even the first sentence of it, but couldn't read it for 2 days. Now I can see your newest response with the two links, but pretty sure something you wrote before that is gone entirely because the message I saw the preview of isn't there. The reply of mine you can't read yet was about this topic.

    It happened with our convo and now it happened in another PM as well with another member.

    I'll try sending the reply that disappeared again. Maybe it will go through this time.

    Not sure what's going on but it just gets annoying when replies are dropped mid-conversation.

    Gosh now I'm even more confused. I see you sent a new reply, but it's doing that blue unreadable thing again. Yet at the same time I'm PM'ng someone else and his replies show up within a minute (3 times in the last few minutes). I guess some PM's are cursed and others aren't.

    The message preview is visible like this:

    There have been several threads about this issue already. I posted about it back in April.

    The messages will eventually appear, but it can take up to two days. And yes, seems to impact some conversations but not others.

    To be honest, if it happened to me I would just assume the other person lost interest in the conversation
