I want, for lack of a better term, to Queer up my look a little. Mostly with pins, ribbons, and such. But I'd like to support Queer artists when I buy them, so I'm mostly avoiding big chain stores for this.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should look? Or maybe someone has something they'd want to show off?

Check out Etsy, they usually have some pretty decent stuff. One of the favorite things I have is a scarf a student made me a couple years ago for Christmas. It’s not bright colors, but really dark and subtle colors but it’s in the design of the pride flag. I have a tie pin I wear when I wear a suit it’s in the shape of a pair of 8th notes () and the bar is rainbow.

I'd like to avoid the big chain stores, but between my super tight budget and total disdain for shopping online I have little choice.

What kind of a look are you going for? Is it a "hey peoples I'm gay" look, or a "quietly signaling to fellow gays that I, too, am queer"?

I don't want to blind people with the rainbow or anything, but I'm not trying to hide, either. Mostly pins or other accessories to put on my bag or my clothes. Maybe a bracelet. I also have a pair of socks with rainbow stripes on them.
