Porn and Bisexuality

    (a) Absolutely no data whatsoever, anywhere, to suggest that watching porn has any influence whatsoever on who one is attracted to, and lots of data to show that it has no effect.

    (b) I would not trust the non-scientific opinion of someone who owns a porn site as a credible source of information on how sexual orientation operates.

    (c) There's no data supporting the idea that one's sexual orientation (well, except for genuine asexuality) has any influence on how much porn someone watches. If anything, gay men on the whole tend to be a bit more in touch with their sexual selves and may, on a per-capita basis, watch more porn than their heterosexual male counterparts, but even that statistic is pretty flimsy.

    I just want to reiterate that I don't agree with the study, nor do I believe it. Quite frankly, I think it's absolute BS. I came across it and thought it was kind of interesting so I wanted to hear everyone's opinion. I appreciate everyone that has commented thus far, and have enjoyed reading what everyone has had to say. :slight_smile:
