Does anyone else keep something really silly as a secret?
Is there anything you hide from people but realize that it's so ridiculous to hide it because it means nothing to the universe?

Well, you've come to the right place! (Sorry this is cringe I don't know how to start a thread)

So, uh, yeah. Secrets that are really silly and there's no reason to hide them. Uh, reply yours if you want to share it?

Mine is that I like drawing. It's probably because I used to be so bad, that I don't want people to think I'm making more of the stuff 12 year old me did.

I think it's an interesting topic.

Drawing is a good skill to have, there are a lot of uses for it. I'd probably program more games if I could do the art for them.

Mines probably that I like baths, usually with bubble bath. Maybe cos some people see baths as "girly?" and then there's the fact that bubble bath is usually advertised as a kids thing. But you only live once, so do what ya like I say.

I'm a bit mixed on whether this is a 'secret' or not. I guess it can be since I'm careful whom I tell.

I don't openly admit that I enjoy gaming because it seems to come across as 'nerdy' to most people I've met face to face. As soon as I tell someone, I get a certain facial expression and they make a swift exit.

I suppose a sedentary hobby doesn't mix well for my line of work, either.

When I was a kid my favorite color was violet, and I never told anyone because purple was a girl color. I told people it was blue instead. Now I've been saying it's blue for so long, I actually do like blue more. So yeah, apparently you can change your favorite color by accident.

Gaming is much more accepted among adults than it used to be. I find it strange that an adult could react in such a manner, though I guess some adults, (probably more common in older ones) don't understand it; in which case, they're definitely missing out.

I'm reluctant to show my interests to because I feel like I have be an "expert" to count as "liking" something.

I always get nervous when I tell people I like kpop because of all the negative stereotypes and it seems kinda "nerdy" I guess. So I keep it to myself even though I know no one would care.

Oh yeah, I do this too with my interest with anime. Even though anime itself is from Asia, most people find people like me weird...

I tend to be over-protective of most of the details of my life aside from the most conventionally personal ones, which I'll casually drop into any conversation. Lol. But as a specific example: I'm very open about the fact that I love to exercise and find it to be a great source of mental stability. I'll also occasionally admit to being spiritually curious and open to all kinds of ideas of science-spirituality blended philosophies. But I refuse to reveal that I enjoy a good yoga session.
