Fencing was cancelled today, so the coach, senior assistant and I went to Starbucks for coffee. We had a long meandering conversation, and eventually we hit upon the topic of violence as a response to bullying as well as reaction formation. At that point, I let it out, and they were quite supportive. I think they knew from before though, because they seem to make an effort to play up their straight ally credentials around me. They've always made me feel valued at the club. *giddy*
I do fencing as well. Yay, another gay fencing person in the world. Woohoo! Haven't come out to my coach though.
