Well the closet isn't empty but the door is open and I finally came out to my brother and a very close friend, sharing that Im a transgender woman. To my shock and pleasure, neither pitched me under the bus and both said it doesn't change who I am. They both also said they knew something was wrong, and now they understand why. It feels really nice to at least have started the social aspects of transition. Now with the physical process very well underway the anxiety and panic attacks are almost non existent. What a relief.
