Hi Everyone. I'm a 37 year old married male...very confused...but I've started the coming out process. I've 'outed' myself to some newly found gay friends and have told one member of my family. I'm struggling right now with telling my wife and kids (of which I have 4). The timing just never seems to be right...(is there ever a right time?). I found this group and am hoping to talk to others who have been in my shoes or are in my shoes right now. Feel free to drop me a line...

Thanks for all of the warm comments. I'm still getting used to the site. If I wanted to speak to Jim1454, how do I contact him? I'd love to talk to anyone...about what they're going through...what they've gone through. I'm in kind of an information gathering stage...so I'd love to hear from anyone. There is never a "right time" but you owe it to them to tell them. In today's society we need to teach people it's better to be honest than to live a lie for the sake of living it.
Alot of people here on EC have been faced with this horrible deliema. I thought coming out to my brother and parents sucked...imagine your "dearly loved" wife. And 4 kids? Good luck, Good thing you joined Ec cause we rock at being there for you!
