Interesting. In your observation, does the same apply to bisexuals or do you think these signals indicate just gay people?

In the absence of strong signs, mine's a zero.

It still applies, but the signs are a lot more confusing to read and makes it very difficult to know for sure. Like when their eyes linger too long, for a bisexual that would happen for both men and women - which would make the observer question whether the person is actually bisexual or just naturally looks at people longer than usual since there wouldn't be a clear pattern of only doing it to attractive men and no one else like a gay person would.

It doesn't help that bisexuals have varying levels of attraction either. If a guy is 90% attracted to women and 10% to men it'd be pretty much impossible to identify them because they'd probably have all the same behaviors of a straight guy since they wouldn't really be that out of place to begin with.

In the psychological study we did nobody correctly identified more than 20% of the bisexuals, even when they got 80% of the gay and straight ones correct.

It's weird. I once took an online quiz that measured how good one's gaydar is. I recall that I got around 75%, and that was literally based off of photos.

But in real life, I think my gaydar is much lower. Anywhere from a 3-5.5 on the scale. I think it depends on the situation and the person.

    My gaydar is for guys...
    I'm a 5 or 6....can usually spot them....though I'm always looking at guys...being gay myself...lol...

I have kids and an ex wife, though I have my own traits according to ex!! But when I'm with my kids I look more straight I suppose....
Though I embrace being gay and don't want to be seen as straight as I'm true to myself now......

I'd be more worried about attaching somebody else's label on myself. Don't change who you are simply to appear gay.
