Now that I'm slowing coming out, I need help in what to do next. So nervous and scared. That's why I'm being real selective on who I tell. I guess what I'm asking, what's next?

    Hey emily,

Can you clarify what you mean? Are you talking about who else to Come Out to? Finding other LGBTQ people? Something else?

    Ah. O.K.

So, you can do some internet searches for a nearby LGBTQ center, you could look for local LGBTQ-specific groups on meetup.com, you could also research online for nearby LGBTQ-specific hobby/interest groups (hiking, biking, chess groups, book groups, etc) that may coincide with your own interests, etc.

Hey, you mean you haven't read your lesbian manual? Haha sorry only joking. What happens next is really up to you. Everyone's journey is different. Some people join groups as Quantumreality has stated, others dive straight into dating, some people go to gay bars. It's really whatever you feel most confident doing. What would you like to happen next?

Yes, I agree with what Quantumreality and silverhalo suggest. I just signed up to a LGBTQ meetup group in my area and have made plans to go to their next social gathering - at the least I can maybe meet other people face to face who are going through some of the same experiences as we are here on EC. Part of taking a step at a time for me. All the best!
