hi i am Katie! I am 34 and have recently realized I am bisexual. My husband, a friend, and my therapist knows. Not so sure about going beyond that.
Excited to be in a group with people similar to me. Thanks for the add.

HI Katie! You're in the right place! Whether you tell more people beyond the few you've told is entirely up to you. There are lots and lots of people here who will share their experiences as you figure that out. I hope it goes well for you.

Hi Katie your experience is not a zillion miles from mine and I have 'come out' to few but always moving onwards and EC is a safe and useful resource.

hi katie! your situation sounds familiar, i have been out to my husband for a few years, and a few friends, but not even to my counselor yet..
i am so glad i found this community (just last week) it has been really helpful to hear so many stories of others that i can relate with and have a space to share myself.

someone suggested i try to find some lgbtqa people in my area to connect with. i haven’t taken that leap, but i am hoping to, mostly just to make some new friends. for now, i’m just enjoying getting to know some friends on here.

are your husband, friend and counselor supportive?

i will say of the under ten friends i have come out to, two of them came out right back to me! both of them are in longterm relationships with people of the opposite sex, one married with a baby and the other they just bought a house together.
