New & Looking For Answers

Hi, everyone! My name's Dominique, but for my username I decided to go by "Alex", a gender-neutral nickname I chose for myself. I joined this site a few weeks ago, but haven't been able to post anything until now. This is not only my first time using a forum site, but also openly seeking help regarding my gender/sexuality issues. For the past few months, I've been doing personal research on different genders, sexualities, & romantic orientations, hoping I'd be able to figure out who I was, to no avail. After all this time, the only thing I know is that I'm a biromantic who doesn't think of themself as "anything", gender-wise. The stress is getting to the point where I'm thinking about it every day, making it hard to concentrate on other things. Even though I'm normally shy & hardly ever talk to people, I came across EC after doing a search for LGBTQ+ support sites in desperation. I'd rather feel shy/nervous from chatting with others on here if it means it'll help reduce the alone-ness & confusion I've been feeling for so long . Everyone seems to be really friendly & supportive here, so I think I've found the right place.
