I'm getting my name change done soon. I thought I had decided to just go with the masculine of my current name because it would be easier, but it's not a name I've ever really liked and I want to pick something that fits better. I'm just having a really hard time finding what I'm looking for, and I've been looking for two years. I know I want it to start with an S, and I want it to sound a little bit fairytale. Do any of you guys have ideas?
I looked online and my favorites were Sage, Sawyer, Silas, and Sebastian. I'm not sure if they're fairytale, but I thought they were all relatively unique and interesting. I especially like Sage and Sawyer. Good luck! I've always thought name hunting was fun.
Baby name sites, trust me lol. You can look up names by nationality, if that matters to you at all, too, in addition to merely by letter. Also, you could look up baby name charts for your birth year (and the years around it) to get ideas. I like Sebastian but i'm also a Black Butler fan haha. I would wait a while before legally changing it though if you're still picking one out. You gotta make sure its not something that you will love for a short while and then get tired of. Do you have your middle name picked out?? I finally decided my middle name and honestly i think picking the middle name was the hardest part. My name, if i ever change it legally, is gonna be Alex Samuel.
It turns out that unless I get this done really soon I'm going to be sort of screwed for college next year. So I guess I'm just going to go with Samwell, which is just a slightly weirder version of what I was going to do before. My mom likes it and I can live with it. I'm changing my entire name, so I guess if nothing else I could go by my last name instead.
Okay. Just know that when i hear that name, the first thing that i think of is Game of Thrones. I know, not helpful...
Oh right. I completely forgot about that. Oh well, I like the name and my mom likes it. And seeing as her last suggestion was Salamander...
