Hello, I wanted to share some of my poems here. I've been writing poems since I was 16 and I feel that it has helped me express and deal with my emotions and feelings, and put my thoughts about the world on paper.

    Here is my poem "Afterlife":

when I die it will not be the end
it will only be the end for me
    but not for nature
    it would take back
    everything it gave me
flowers will bloom from my dead body
    my bones will become roots
    my breath will fill
    someone else's lungs
    life will grow abundantly
    from my death
    I will become one
    with the universe
    and I will stay there
    a vision of orchid
    and pale green
    I will stay there
    reflected in a thousand flowers
    in a thousand faces
    singing my soft song
    that nobody can hear
I will leave traces of myself
    everywhere in the universe
    isn't this the ultimate
    afterlife?

Here's another poem called "Love at Dawn". It's a fantasy about a singer I have a crush on

    How could I touch her?
    She is an angel.
    Too beautiful, too fragile
    for this world.
    I touch her alabaster skin,
    delicate strokes,
    her hair falls down,
    a cascade of gold.
    Her skin is hypnotizing.
    I get lost,
    I forget how to breathe.
    To my ear, she whispers
clouds and roses, meadows and altars.
    I gain entrance
to the garden of her soul.
    I hear birds singing
    and rain falling softly,
    I hear chimes sing their
    haunting but soothing lunar melody.
Strawberry moons are written on her skin,
    stories of porcelain lovers
    and neverending dawn.
    I lean in,
as two red roses join together
to celebrate the epiphany of love.
She tastes like water with mint and lemon
    on a hot summer day,
    like juicy strawberries
    and roses in sugar.
    Her fingers craft a melody
    down my spine,
    soft heavens and cornflowers.
    The world might end,
    the towers may fall,
the earth may burn to the ground,
    but I know that
she will be by my side always,
like I know that every morning
the universe will paint the sky
    pink, orange and yellow.
