I came out to a friend of a friend in the lunchroom at my school. She asked me, "has anyone gotten your gender wrong?" I said "the doctors did when I was born." A few months later, I came out to some internet friends by saying "I want to platonically kiss someone (i'm aro)" A few years ago, I never thought I'd do either of those things, but I guess my confidence grew once I got to college
