I like dark movies so one time I looked up a list of the most disturbing movies and I watched the #1 on the list. To this day I regret ever watching A Serbian Film. It scarred me, and it's not easy to do for me.

Yeah, I heard about that one. No thank you. How many countries is it banned in? Probably the only ban I would ever agree with.

The worst are The Human Centipede, both the first and second one, and all the Saw movies. Gore isn't scary, but it is REALLY disturbing to watch.

Its especially disturbing if you were 6 and saw the first Saw movie like I did when it first came out. I also saw the Human Centipede when I was 12. Not something most kids that age would want to see.

I still haven't seen it, but I know what you're talking about. I think Eli Roth said (in response to it) that Dario Argento puts the "gore" in "gorgeous" with how stunning the movie is with its visuals.

Another movie I still need to see is "In a Glass Cage" (1986). It's about a pedophile Nazi doctor who, after a failed suicide attempt, ends up paralyzed and confined to an iron lung. He soon relies on a mysterious teenager to be his nurse, who turns out to be someone from his past who secretly witnessed him torture and kill another young boy.

My friend pressured me into watching Saw. I really hate violence, so I dropped out pretty quickly. I'm still a bit scarred by it though.

B horror is awesome! I love Evil dead and anything by troma is pretty hilariously awesome while simultaneously being pretty stupid. Lol

Visitor Q is hands down the most disturbing. I had a look on my face of WTF the whole time.... I can't believe I even watched the whole thing

i've seen a lot of horror movies and it's pretty hard to make me feel disturbed. even the human centipede, though the concept was pretty gross, i wasn't disturbed as much, and thought it was a bit boring. the most disturbing shit i've ever seen was " Salo: The 120 Days of Sodom (1975)". THAT. IS. DISTURBING. AS. FUCK.

I miss the days when gore and horror could be separate. I'm getting tired of watching a "scary movie" and all it is is Samuel L. Jackson levels of cussing and unnecessary degrees of gore-a-mania.

Quit hiding behind that, film world, and make an actual suspenseful movie, damn it!

A Kite. An anime movie about - I actually don't know.
Boys Don't Cry. The rape scene made me want to rip out my eyes.

Ditto. Gore doesn't have to be mixed wirh horror, there can be funny gory films. I prefer those, they know that violence can be enjoyable and funny.
