So this is regarding the guy in the last post I made. I now know he IS gay. I had been talking to him a little bit, when I started to think that I KNEW he liked me back because he hugged me... Anyway, I told my friends that I liked him but they knew that he's had a long-distance boyfriend from Germany for a while. They tried to encourage me by telling me that I see him every day and would have a way better chance with him than the other guy, but I don't want to be selfish and try to ruin an established relationship just for myself. I am just really sad to hear it because I really felt like I had a chance with him, I thought he liked me, and he's made me excited to go to school and gave me a reason to dislike the weekends which is really hard to do. I just don't know what I should do.
Hey I can understand your dilemma. Does the guy know that you are gay? Do you officially know he is gay?
Maybe you could just talk to him and explain that you would never want to make things awkward but if the situation was different you would definitely be interested or something along those lines.
