Like or favorite a post?

    Is it just me as a new member that has this issue, or is there no way to 'like' a post or mark it a favorite so you can come back to it.

    You can subscribe to it. While you're looking at it, choose Thread Tools / Subscribe.

    Also, if you've posted in it, you'll see a little arrow on its envelope in the list of threads but you can also set your options to automatically subscribe to any thread you comment in.

    And you can see all threads you posted in by looking in you Statistics at Posts you've made.

    Is that what you were looking for?

    kind of, but the subscribe thread will work.

    We have intentionally avoided implementing 'like' functionality because we don't want to create popularity contests and people posting simply to get likes. It's a value we hold pretty strongly.

    That said, subscribing is one way to keep tracking updates to a thread. Bookmarking it in your browser works too. We will give thought to ways we might be able to create internal 'favorites' lists forthe sort of thing you are after.
