What are some of your favourite slang words/phrases that most non-LGBT+ people won't understand?

    Here's one of mine:-

I kinda like "Stone Butch" maybe. I don't know, I don't really like it when people use phrases like "Lez be honest" or "I can't think straight"..... it makes me cringe.

This isn't a real slang word but it should be... I think I'd be one of these (found after a quick Google search)

Passgie — a masculine presenting woman that actually bottoms more regularly than she tops (a passive butch).

How to use it in a sentence: “It’s wonderful dating a Passgie. She’s got the whole androgynous look and yet she lets me top her all the time.”

There's Lipstick, Chapstick, and Butch lesbian types, which idk if straight people know all of them. I second gold star though, that's a good one

I agree. Definitely feeds into the whole masculinity-dominance/slut-shaming idea in our culture.

I don't know if any of these have been said but here goes:

Stud - another term for a "butch" lesbian
Stem - a lesser known term for a lesbian who's kind of in between "stud" and "fem"
"Touch-me-not" - a term typically applied to lesbians who far prefer/require giving to receiving in sexual situations
Bear - A more masculine-presenting gay man, someone society wouldn't deem a stereotypical gay man

A "gold star" is used to describe a lesbian who has never had sex with a man in her life. It's problematic because it shames lesbians who have had sex with men, making them feel less-than or impure because they have had sex with a man because that's seen in our society as being dominated/conquered regardless of the situation.
It's analogous to slut-shaming, like how girls who have several male sexual partners are called sluts, while oftentimes men who have several female sexual partners are normal or regarded as players.
Similarly, a girl who sleeps with girls, unlike a girl who sleeps with a lot of men, is often not regarded as a slut.

So yeah, it's not really a good term to use even though many lesbians do seem to use it.

"Stud", maybe (as in stud lesbian)?
