    Beginners

    Cried 8 times. That movie kicked me in all of my rough areas: Gay, Cancer, Troubled marriages, being a child of a troubled marriage, and Jack Russell Terriers.

    On the Terms of Endearment 1-10 crying scale, it's a 30.

    You certainly will - coincidently I happened to be reading Trust Me by Jeff Erno at the same time* which had the same effect.


    * Not literally of course - was about 2/3 way through the book when I watched the film.

    To be honest the only one I have watched is Transamerica which was sexy because Kevin Zegers is one sexy guy. Plus he was naked like 3 times in that movie and you even saw his penis once :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I learned like 2 weeks ago that the 4th and 5th parts 'Eating Out' are out, watched them both. I liked them, especially as they finally addressed transgender issues, and portrayed them quite well I think. and they were funny of course, I missed Rebekah Kochan, though. (she did appear in both movies, but not enough :grin:)

    These are definitely my favourite gay movies. I've also seen Edge of 17 and Roleplay which were ok and Another Gay Movie which was... interesting :lol:

    I've seen Transamerica and I would definitely recommend that movie, especially for transexuals. Plus it has Kevin Zegers in it and he's naked :wink: Man that boy gave me a hard on the entire movie.

    I've seen a bunch of these movies, plus an interesting documentary called The Adonis Factor, which addresses the attitude of visual perfection often seen in mainstream gay culture (and by that I mean the way the rest of the world views gay men).

    By far my favorite movie in the entire world, Gypsy 83 with Sara Rue is about a twenty-something woman and her best friend Clive (Kett Turner) as they travel from Ohio to New York to a Stevie Nicks tribute event. Clive is struggling to really come to terms with his homosexuality. He is by far the best character in the movie and I love him so much.

    Yes Julia I also thought that movie was great especially since its a film where the main characters are coming out. Loved it how the sister knew before the main character that she was a lesbian.

    I just watched "Prayers for Bobby" on Youtube and omg that movie was so sad :*( Only two movies have ever made me cry before but this is the third one. It's definitely a movie I recommend

    I watched it yesterday, it's such a shame that he never got to see his mother do such amazing things for human rights. I'm not a crier, but it almost got me! (I'm such a liar...)

    Yeah it is a shame :*( Hey don't be afraid to admit you cried. I normally don't cry at movies but I did this time. I would have been a lot louder had it not been in the middle of the night :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
